method of analysing a subject (eg social sciences, psychology, language, literature), which concentrates on the structure of a system and the relations between its elements, rather than on the function of those elements 结构主义（社会科学、 心理学、 语言学、 文学等学科采用的研究方法, 注重系统中的结构及其各成分间的关系而并非各成分的功能）.
